Am getting ready to file an I-360 petition. I do not have my husband's alien number. What do i do? Also, the supporting documents i have are only bank statements as when i left i did get anything and only called the bank to get this.

I got police clearance but it also says that I need an affividavit of good moral character and extreme hardship. Is this something that I write myself. Please help

Moved from Off topic forum to Effects of Major Family Change forum as OP more likely to get useful information here.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

You can request USCIS to do a system look up on your husband's status, include Full name, date of birth, place of birth and if possible, parents name.. If you have police clearance then you don't need affidavit of good moral character, however you need to write your own declaration of what took place, u need to write about how you met your husband, how the courtship was in the beginning, how and when the abuse started, u need to give detailed information of what happened, how it made you feel. You also need proof that you were abused, whether it was physically or mentally, such proof of this can be, reports and affidavits from police, judges, and other court officials, medical personnel, school officials, clergy, social workers, and other social service agency personnel, if u have an order of protection, or have taken other legal steps to end the abuse you should submit copies of those court documents, you also need to prove that your marriage was entered in good faith and not for the sole purpose of gaining any immigration benefit. You do not need to prove extreme hardship as it was taken out in the reauthorization of VAWA 2000. Good luck.
