I am not expert in this, but I can talk about my experience in quick marriage. I met my wife in August 30, 2007 and we got married officially in November 21,2007, and our wedding party was Feb 7 2008. According to our culture when a couple wants to get engaged, they have to singe their marriage contract in the court which means they are officially married, but not socially. So, according to my marriage contract we had a quick marriage, but it was not a big issue in the interview. The CO says " You guys got married after 2 months and half". I said "yes we get married officially after this short time because I knew from the beginning " first meeting" she is the one so does she, and we are old enough to take the right decision. We were falling in love day by day." Then, he stopped me and smiled. That was my experience. I think getting married in short time is not the issue, but how you answer to a such question. I think you do not need to memories things by hearts to answer, but just say what was the real reason of getting married from your beloved. Be simple, and talk naturally without hesitation. I hope I helped at least little bit.

HELLO FRDS,

JUST BEEN CURIOUS WHAT WILL HE SAY WHEN HE GOES FOR HIS INTERVIEW. IF ASKED

1. WHY DO YOU MARRY AN OLDER WOMAN?

2. WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH HER KIDS?

3. WE DATE FOR 4 MONTHS AND GOT MARRIED ON THE FIRST IN PERSON VISIT, TELL ME HOW DANGEROUS IS THAT FOR OUR FUTURE OR HIS VISA/INTERVIEW BEEN APPROVED?

This is how i would Answer anyways.

Wow lol Well 1. Love comes to us all in differnt ways. ( You should explan 2 them why u love her maybe it was the way she made you feel etc... )

2. I will treat them as if they where my own. ( Thats how my step father treated me )

3. We married in 4months b/c why waste time i knew she was the one I would spend the rest of my life with ( HUH I miss my hubby lol)

why would it be a danger? Just tell turth and how u feel about your wife and explan your feeling how u dont see her as an older person plus its not the 1st time nor the last time people marry people alot older then they are.

I don't have answers to your questions but maybe you should try to find someone who was in your situation who has already been approved and ask them for guidance. But honestly, just bring tons of evidence and pictures. =) And be confidence and honest.

Hello VJs,

I would like to share my processing thing. Here it is..

I submitted DS 230 part 1 and 2 again, this time in my married name because the earlier one was in maiden name and I used that maiden name in newly sent forms in aliases. My whole process starting from I-130 to DS 230 has my maiden name and now they have got another packet which I sent have my married name. Will that delay the processing?

Many thanks!!
