Huh. Really interesting point. I've never had any desire to watch a male stripper ever.

It actually almost sickens me... does that make me weird?

I feel the same way....... i think it's funny and sometimes yucky..... :blush:

I'm not attracted to what most women are (or what they say they are) attracted to. I love seeing a pretty face, pretty nose, mouth, teeth, smile, good hair, strong hands, cool style and stuff..... but I just don't see what is the deal with those big muscle oily guys. Does that make ME weird? :unsure:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

Why are people here questioning if they're weird or odd just because someone else's comfort level is different from theirs?

If you being you is okay with you and the people closest to you, then you're not weird. :thumbs: It's not everyone's cup of tea and nor should it be (it'd be really crowded if it was!)

As for strip clubs, I probably wouldn't be upset because I'd be there with him. :lol: But that's our dynamic and not necessarily anyone else's.

I mean, when the first time a gal goes to a male strip club for a bridal shower and her Mom gets invited too cuz the Mom is so cool, well, nothing much phases said gal after that. ;)

It would be a huge fight for us if I found out about it after the fact. But this is only because both he and I are generally anti-strip-clubs and anti-porn, and it would be more of a betrayal of a promise than anything else.

First of all, I worked in a club for 6 years as a WAITRESS ! And I would perfer my partner to go there than a regular bar. Regular bars are for the dating scene unless it's a sports bar. Stip Clubs as long as they are clean can be a lot of fun and harmless entertainment. Just my two cents though ..........

It makes no difference to me whether it's a regular bar or one with naked ladies (using that word lightly). I would be upset if he was at a regular bar as well... maybe not as upset as the strip club but very upset none the less. Again, not something I would have to worry about.....

  • **Waiting for Notice of I129F approval to show up in the mail!**
  • NOA2 Showed up in mail Wed 24th May 2006
  • ** Nervous as all hell - Still no Instruction packet**

I'd be a little weirded-out, but not necessarily mad per se. But I actually think my reaction would depend on which of his friends he went with -- if he went with friends that I like, I'd be much less mad than if he went with one of his friends I considered an @ss anyway. I'd be more likely to consider it harmless fun if he went with friends I liked and considered responsible people. Also, if he drank a lot and esp. if he came home drunk... then I'd be really angry, since I just wouldn't like that, even if he'd gotten drunk in the library or something lol.
