A curious fellow died one day and found himself waiting in the long line of

judgment.

As he stood there he noticed that some souls were allowed to march right

through the pearly gates into Heaven. Others though, were led over to

Satan who threw them into the burning pit.

But every so often, instead of hurling a poor soul into the fire, Satan

would toss a soul off to one side into a small pile.

After watching Satan do this several times, the fellow's curiosity got the

best of him. He strolled over and asked Satan what he was doing.

"Excuse me, Prince of Darkness," he said: "I'm waiting in line for

judgment, but I couldn't help wondering, why are you tossing those people

aside instead of flinging them into the Fires of Hell with the others?"

"Oh those" Satan groaned: "They're all from Ontario. It's only half way

through summer and they're still too cold and too wet to burn."

I live on Ontario, and it's so true!

We haven't' had any summer weather, it's been doing nothing but raining.

I'm about ready to go out a buy a flippin wetsuit. I' also about ready to kick some butt if I hear it's 85 so nice and cool, I'm not sure we made it above 60 yet.

Here in Ottawa it will warm up when parliament gets back to work, it will be like living in Arizona.

It's true, it's true!!! Summer has sucked this year! It's so weird! There's only been a couple of days that have even remotely resembled summer weather! Makes me sad for all the girls who would've planned a wedding this year betting on summer weather! :lol:

To be honest, I think summer has sucked pretty much everywhere on the north-east part of North America. Here in New Jersey, we had one recorded sunny day in the whole month of June if you can believe that and it was June 1st. :lol: We had 29 straight days of rain. My area also had a tornado on the weekend due to rain and very humid conditions. We have had at least 5 flash floods in the past 6 weeks.

For Jersey, that's pretty unusual...it's been crappy everywhere.

Good story though Kathryn! :lol:

Very true! Here and Colorado it seems to rain everyday. Everyone keeps telling me how unusual it is for everything to still be so wet and green this time of year... and yesterday we had another tornado warning and flooding when I was down in the southern part of the state. As a new resident I don't know any better, but my fiance feels the need to apologize everyday for bringing me here for the wettest summer on record :lol:

But very funny joke! My parents will love this one!
