Hi VJers, I just got the NVC number and according to the shortcut what do i do next, i mean do i wait for the DS 3032 to be generated in the email or do i generate the barcode and send the already downloaded and filled DS 3032 right away. For those who have been through this, what step is next? thank you all

send DS3032 asap by email one for u one for ur SO

pay online the bill

send I864

send DS230

wait for the case complete

wait for interview date email

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

Sent in I-130 form: 01/29/09

Interview Date: 11/08/09 (APPROVED!)

Visa in Hand: 11/12/09

POE: 01/30/10 (!!!!) at JFK Airport in NYC... can't wait!

Got the green card maybe 8 weeks after 01/30/10...

TBC....

My understanding is that you should call NVC and verify that "The DS-3032 has been generated". Then do the barcode and send it in. Alternatively, you can email. See instructions. Personally, I would not trust any email process but I guess it has workd for others.... Key is that you should not send in the DS-3032 too early.

I-130 For Spouse

10-30-90: Petitioner enters US via NAFTA 1, later H1-B

10-26-96: Petitioner becomes LPR.

07-06-06: Delay due to N-400 processing begins. (Background check delay)

03-03-07: Married

06-09-08: Apply as LPR

02-26-09: Petitioner becomes US Citizen. Delay due to N-400 ends. (2 yrs, 8 mo)

02-27-09: Infopass. Attempted upgrade. Did not work. (found out later)

03-24-09: Timeline for USC I-130 begins. Faxed in Upgrade.

04-23-09: Infopass. Verified Upgrade. Never any official receipt.

06-23-09: Infopass. Check history. Nothing new.

07-23-09: NOA2

NVC IR-1

08-11-09: Case Received & Number Assigned

08-12-09: In AVR. Gave operator emails.

08-13-09: Email received: DS-3032 & AOS bill generated. DS-3032 emailed. AOS bill paid.

08-14-09: DS-3032 sent overnight, I-864 sent overnight

08-18-09: DS-3032 accepted, IV bill generated. IV bill paid.

08-19-09: Email recieved: DS-3032 accepted & IV bill.

08-20-09: DS-230 sent overnight

09-01-09: Case Complete

09-02-09: Email received: Interview Date.

Manila

10-08-09 -10-09-08: Medical. After chest xray, further testing required

10-13-09 -10-15-09: Sputum Tests

10-19-09: Result of Sputum smear test. Negative.

10-19-09: Original Interview POSTPONED

12-10-09: Result of Sputum Culture Test

12-16-09: Medical Appt.

xx-xx-xx: New Interview date

i actually called NVC and gave all the info over the phone instead of DS-3032 and the operator took it and send me an email for the bill.

maybe i got lucky but thank god i am done with everything.

Hey AbbnynSHeryl,

Did you guys use a lawyer? If you used a lawyer for part or all of your NVC stuff, it's a lot different than doing it by ourselves.

Most people dont' get both bills generated at the same time UNLESS They use a lawyer.

Interview Assigned - December 3, 2009 - FINALLY!!

Medical - December 14, 2009 - Passed

Embassy/Interview - January 26, 2010 Montreal, Quebec Canada - 167 days PASSED!!!

Port of Entry - February 26, 2010 Baltimore International, Maryland

USCIS -- ROC package sent off

November 26, 2011 to Vermont station November 30, 2011 received NOA1December 16, 2011 received biometrics appointment.

January 04, 2012 Biometrics

September 2, 2012, RFE Received.

September 22, 2012 RFE responded to

October 15, 2012 ROC approved, 10 Green card on its way.

hey i did use the lawyer to fill my I-130 and once i got my NOA1 i did not notice the name but once i saw the NOA2 notice and i realize the name was wrong so i fired my lawyer and called nyc so they send me all the papers, they took all my info over the phone and i got email from them so on...
