Desperate town hall chiefs in F***ing, Austria, have installed CCTV cameras to stop tourists getting frisky in front of the village signs.

The tiny rural hamlet has been plagued by randy summer visitors filming themselves romping with the name 'F***ing' in the background.

"I'm sure each of them think they're the first to think of it but believe me they're not. We've grown very tired of it and we're doing something about it," said one fed up resident in the village near Salzburg with a population of just 104.

"We are a very traditional community and we find this sort of public display shocking," they added.

Now CCTV cameras are going up above the town name signs to deter tourists from going all the way.

"It might make them think twice and just pose for a picture instead," said one hopeful resident.

The village's bizarre name is understood to come from a sixth century noble called Lord Focko, with 'ing' being old German for 'family of'.

Ah at least they still have their sign still the womans intitute in the small village loose not that far from where I lived in uk used have their sign nicked on frequent occasions. :rolfl:

Actually, I read another article about the town.. They were getting their signs stollen all the time from the tourists and don't have the money to replace them all the time! lol

I am the USC, my husband is German.

I resided in Germany from July 2008-October 2013.

I have two stepsons who are staying in Germany.

Our son was born 3/3/2012 and our daughter was born 4/4/2015.

AUG 30, 2013: Husband's medical in Berlin.

SEPT 12, 2013: Received letter with husband's interview date!

SEPT 19, 2013: INTERVIEW. APPROVED!!

SEPT 21, 2013: Visa received.

OCT 5, 2013: POE in Newark, NJ (layover).

DEC 17, 2013: SSN Card finally arrived!

DEC 19, 2013: Husband (beneficiary) got his first job in the USA! And he loves it!

DEC 28, 2013: Green card arrived!

FUTURE: Visas for my stepsons!

Why would a town called "Firetrucking" worry about people taking pictures?

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
