Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

Thank you guys for your replies i really appreciate them , actually we are pursuing the K-3 petition ; so , NVC doesnt have a copy of the affidavit of support , and i had actually downloaded the forms and sent them to my hubby as he is not the techie guy , he just filled them up and sent it back to me , doesnt need to be notarised ; well i guess i will have to go thru with my scheduled appointment then, and hope the prescreener will allow me to be interviewed by the CO and see what happens ; and i am going to call UPS today and follow up on the package and hope they deliver in time for my interview. :

I am thankful to you guys , so happy to have found this site , thank you so much .

hello mga sis , I have an interview appointment on Tuesday, August4 at the USEM , my problem is , i still have not received I-134 , hubby has already send it thru UPS last week, July 22 , up to now i still have not received them ; he called on ups this morning and according to ups they have sent it thru post , my gosh and siguro naman alam natin how slow ang ating postal system , as in snail paced ; i told hubby that if i dont get it by friday noon , i will have to resked my interview ; but I was thinking , what if i go there and present docs that i have with me right now and tell them that aos has been mailed and am waiting for the delivery? actually i have a copy of tax return 08 , the only thing i dont have is the affidavit of support ; what do you think guys ?

I would really appreciate your replies ,thank you. :(

I used DHL. The papers went from here (FLORIDA) to Baguio in 4 DAYS! The I-134 is essential, but not absolutely required. GO TO YOUR INTERVIEW and tell your Husband to get his butt to a DHL location ASAP. Make sure you have copies of W-2s and copies of a signed tax return for at least last year. He should have letter of employment that shows when he was hired, salary, etc, and that should be on a company letterhead and also notorized. 3 or 4 recent paystubs. You can advise that the documents are on the way and as long as all your other docs are in order, the absolute worst case is that they issue a blue slip which means you will return when you have the documents in hand. But, NEVER CANCEL OR POSTPONE YOUR INTERVIEW. Good Luck and tell hubby to get the lead out.

Comments : She recived the first notice from Manila on Valentines day. Perfect timing.

The first setback came during the medical. Naty had to do the 3 day sputum and then we waited 2 months for the results. YESSSS>came back negative

Went for her interview on July 16th and received her Pink Slip......Finally. Paid the AIR21 and I expect her here August 10th, 2009. Marriage will be August 21st, exactly 4 years to the day that we first met.

its a case to case basis in my case we didnt submit the AOS to NVC i just gave it to the pre screener on the day of my interview, she might have the same case like me we dont know but as what the other say just go and present what she have she might have a white slip though

OP posted in the wrong forum and is doing a K3 . They don't submit a AOS -[i-864] to NVC. They submit a I-134 at the interview.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
