hello mga sis , I have an interview appointment on Tuesday, August4 at the USEM , my problem is , i still have not received I-134 , hubby has already send it thru UPS last week, July 22 , up to now i still have not received them ; he called on ups this morning and according to ups they have sent it thru post , my gosh and siguro naman alam natin how slow ang ating postal system , as in snail paced ; i told hubby that if i dont get it by friday noon , i will have to resked my interview ; but I was thinking , what if i go there and present docs that i have with me right now and tell them that aos has been mailed and am waiting for the delivery? actually i have a copy of tax return 08 , the only thing i dont have is the affidavit of support ; what do you think guys ?

I would really appreciate your replies ,thank you. :(

Hey there. It might be worth going to the interview even without the I-134, providing you can make it past the prescreener. If they will let you inerview the CO will ask you to submit the AOS when you receive it and they can process your visa. I think it's worth a shot as opposed to rescheduling your interview. Good luck to you. Mike

I suggest you go for it on Aug 4, Sis!

Just ask your hubby to scan the document and send it to you thru email.

My fiance’s W2, ITR, I-134 as well as Certificate of Employment were all scanned copies sent thru email. I just printed them here and I didn’t encountered any problem at the interview.

Whether or not the document your husband sent thru UPS will arrive in time for Aug 4, at least you have a copy of his I-134 on your interview day.

Goodluck!

I suggest that you don't postpone your interview. Sis, you have waited for it for a long time and I-134 is not usually asked. In my case, I just asked my husband to send it to me by email and it was fine. As long as you are prepared with enough evidences, you are good to go. Don't be so bothered about it. Good luck and get that pink!

As far as I know Affidavit of Support needs to be original and notarized. If you don't get it the day before your interview, as everyone suggested, go and don't postpone the interview. If your other half get it scanned and sent it through email, print and take it with you to the Embassy. You can tell the Consul about it and most probably, you will be required to submit it later when you have the paper. It might delay the visa issuance for a few days, but, postponing the interview will delay it longer. Good luck!

If you don't get the I-134 in time. Take a scanned copy of it. DON"T reschedule. You "may" get by with a copy. If not you'll only be on AR for a short time after you submit the I-134 when it gets there.

Reschedules take a couple months.

Not correct!

The newest version of the I-134 does NOT need to be notarized.

I would send a scanned copy and have your SO print it there. If required it can be submitted after the interview.

Do not reschedule simply for a missing I-134...
