Hi all VJ friends.. I had my interview today and they approved my CR-1 visa

Thank you for all supports and helps that you have given me trough this rough journey.

Here is my interview experience:

I came to the embassy on 7.50 AM (the appointment was on 8.00 AM). I met a nice lady who already sat there in the room. She would have her CR-1 interview too.. later on, I found out that she is John1759's wife.. We had a conversation and I was happy to meet her so I didn't feel too nervous.

We waited for immigration counter (we thought that it was still closed), after 45 mins waiting we realized that probably we need to stand in front of the counter so some one will come and ask for our docs. After we stand in front of the counter, then an Indonesian lady came to us and asked for some docs (medical, passport). She asked only one question to me:

1. How long have you been married? More or less then 2 years?

After that, she told me to have a seat until they call my name for biometrics.

I set down and had more conversations with John1759's wife until they call her name to had biometrics. After she was done with that, they called my name to have biometrics, and they asked me to have a seat again until they call my name for interview.

The CO called John7159 wife to have her interview in counter #1 (it is a small room). It didn't took a long time for her. When she opened the door, I just knew that she got approved from her smile :D

I didn't wait for along time until the CO called my name. The interview it self was in Indonesian language. CO was very nice and polite. He greeted me and asked me to raised my right hand to have my oath. These are his questions:

1. How long did you stayed in the US on your last visit? I said, "one day before 6 months", and he replaied: "WOW, you're exactly know about the US immigration law" :D I said, "yes"

2. Where did you meet your husband?

3. When did you meet in person?

4. Was it in Indonesia?

5. Oh, did you live there?

6. You have visited the US 3 times haven't you?

He was busy with his computer for a min.. I was waiting for more questions and all of the sudden he said, "relax, don't be too formal" I just smiled and said "oh, ok" (I was so surprised he said that and really glad to have a very nice CO.. I have to say that I wasn't nervous at all!!). He continued the questions:

7. Have your husband ever visited Indonesia?

8. When?

After that he stamped my passport, and at the same time I knew that he approved my visa. He said, "we will issued your visa, please come back on this date to have your visa", and he even said enjoy your life in Oklahoma :D. It was so fast and only took 5 mins at the most. After I thanked him I leave the room and celebrate our approvals with my friend

We leave the embassy at 9.38 AM. It was so smooth and painless.. Thanks GOD. It was a big relieve for me and hubby..

I thank all VJ members again for your great helps, and for those who still waiting for NOA2, Case complete and Interview day, hang in there.. you're time will come soon, just keep the faith. I wish you all a good luck and smooth journey :star: :star: :star: :star:

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to you!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
