I know that the timeline for approval for California is long and slow. I sent out my I-130 on 2/22/06 and received NOA1 on 3/4/06 and approval in June. Just hang in there :star:

It will soon happen. It is a matter of waiting ;)

Good Luck to you

Yes there have been a couple of approvals on the board in last two weeks. Both from Jan 2006. So based on that it is going to be a long wait.

One thing alot of people loose sight of is that we (the people on this board) are just a small proportion of the people waiting in line at CSC. I too think it is great that so many touches are happening but also know that CSC is still working on petitions from the late Jan to early Feb time frame. Based on watching their dates and being on other boards even if they start speeding things up it is going to be late summer to early fall before they finally get caught up to where Vermont is.

If you do a timeline seach: CSC, (start)NOA1

March 01, (end)NOA1 March 05, you will get 4 out of 4 people with NOA2's. Even thought they state they are processing people in February they have finished some in March too.

Okay, your right they have approved a few from mar and feb. However my comment still stands. Since the first of the year there have been 260 people receive NOA1 only 98 have received NOA2, which leaves 162 still in que. A couple of the ones that say they have NOA2s have really weird timelines and think they are mistakes as the dates are all most the same, so figure is someone who made mistake with timeline.

Essentially is still going to be long wait for those of us still on the list.

ok I doubt people are making (big)mistakes on their timelines and if they are some could have their NOA2's and not updated or just gave up on the process. I think the process is a little chaotic since 4 out of 4 I saw in the range of NOA1 dates March1-5 had their Noa2. I guess I need to do some timeline searches cause you might be right....we may have a long wait. I still think we will see some Noa2's from March soon....the process seems chaotic. I predict this week if we compare California to Vermont using RFE recived dates.

if you mean waiting for the IMBRA approvals NOA2 we are all hoping that it will come soon. i believe someone said somethings going to happen in the next three weeks.

lets keep our fingers crossed that it is going to happen. do you want to start a chart to monitor the NOA2s? i dont know how to make it but it sure is a good idea if we started something.

Barry,

There are two people who for some reason have NOA1 thru approval of the same date so I figure they are just someone playing with timelines. Other than that I think everyone else looks good.

I went back and added in Neb and Tex to the total and it comes to 573 K-1 visa petitions with 290 having received NOA2. that leaves 283 yet to go. Now out of those 58 of them have a receipt date prior to mine on 15 Mar.

The point I am making is there are alot of people waiting in the que just on VJ.

Would be interesting to know what the grand total is!!!!!

Barry, I think you are right. I believe they will update with a date of either late Feb or March 5. It appears to me as well that any that have not been approved with dates prior to that are in Security Checks or have other problems with them. I would have to believe that during the IMBRA debacle and waiting they were nearly caught up with the pre-Imbra dates and things will be moving faster in the coming weeks. I think if you are a march 15 date the two - three weeks you would see a lot of touches and maybe an approval. I surely hope so, because mine is 3-29 and am growing very anxious.

I believe with the reorg taking place as well the efficiency level will continue to increase instead of slowing down even with all these RFE's. In my opinion they have been working on post imbra cases, but can not complete without the RFE.

Hi,

Just to let you know my laywer called me last week and wanted to know if i sent the RFE back and i told him yes and that they recieved it.He then told me that if everything was ok with it that he expects approvals to be comming within three weeks time,he siad that they are working extra hard to relieve the backlog of cases.I was really suprised he told me to expect an approval in 3 weeks.I dont know if he has inside info since thats all the frim handles is K1 visas, and it states on his website that they have full USCIS and embassy support. So lets keeep our fingers crossed and PRAY to GOD that all goes speedy from here on out.

They recieved my petition on 5-30-06 and then CSC recived it on 06-07-06 and ive been touched like on the 4th 5th 7th and 8th of this month.Any comments would be appricated. What do you all think?
