The stupid people at Asiana airlines trying to make money out of my fiancee. The wait at Souel will be 13 hours, therefore they convinced her to pay for a hotel at the same time. They included an extra 80 dollars with the tickets. I told my fiancee that she cannot go out the airport into a hotel without a US passport. She went back to the airline and told them about what i said, they told her she can. Freaking bs!!

Hey M, Yes she can, she can go to the hotel and rest. When the time come they will have a shuttle bus to take her back to the airport. I think they even give a meal too. So don't worry.

You either take a mini tour around Seoul or go to the hotel. She may not go on the tour with the VNese passport but she can go to the hotel.

When your wife and Mom get to the airport in Seoul, go down to the ground floor and to the right of the terminal is where the Asiana info counter. They will direct people into two groups. One go on the tour and the other will go to the hotel. Relax..they will be fine..and be with you soon bro.

There are hotels in the airport. I had a 11 hour layover from Saigon to Seoul to Los Angeles in 2007. I didn't stay in any of the hotels, but I was told that you don't have to leave the airport to stay in one of them. As a guy, I choose to take a nap on one of the many couches in the airport. It may be a nice treat for your fiancee to take a shower and take a nap in a nice bed.

I don't think is the Asiana Airline wanna the money from your fiancee. We all know the hotel is for free when flying with Asiana airline for layover. Is the Vietnamese-Agency wants to make some extra money for themself. You need to tell your fiancee to speak to the Manager, or yourself need to call back to vn to speak to the agency.

Good luck.

p.s. don't give them the 80 dollars. lot of money bro.

If she has the US Visa in her passport she is clear to enter any country that does not require one. When I went to VN to bring my wife back we had a all day lay over so went on a tour of Seoul. It was great! She is fine Im sure she is already on a plane to you! Good Luck!
