Applied 5/2007 Approved GC in Hand 10/2007
I-751 mailed 6/30/09 aapproved 11/7/09 The BOYS I-751 Mailed 12/29/09 3/23/10 Email approval for 17 CR 3/27/10
4/14/10 Email approval for 13 yr Old CR 4/23/10

Oldest son now 21 I-130 filed by LPR dad ( as per NVC CSPA is applying here )
I-130 approved 2/24
Priority date 12/6/2007
4/6/2010 letter from NVC arrives to son dated 3/4/2010
5/4/10 received AOS and DS3032 via email
9/22/10 Interview BOG Passed
10/3/10 POE JFK all went well
11/11/10 GC Received smile.png

august 2004 I-129 filed (neb)

DEC 2004 Approved

interview: SEOUL

MArch 21st , 2005AR for special security clearance,washington

May 18th tranfer case from Seoul to Islammabad

June 21st security clearance done

June 28th online at the embassy in Islamabad

waiting for paper transfer and the good word

OCTOBER 14TH 2005 Interview Number 2: ISLAMABAD, PK

AR number 2 sent to DOS per Islamabad (2 cable request)

Nov 22 okd updated financial and etc proof accepted / embassy waiting for security cables

dec 20th one cable back waiting on 2nd

Jan 17th.. good word recieved. SECURITY CHECKS ALL CLEAR!!! DOS says embassy to contact him within two weeks!!!!!!

FEBRUARY 10th, 2006 VISA RECIEVED!!! They called him In via phone, stamped his passort and sent him on his way!!!

FEB 28th WELCOME HOME>>>POE CHICAGO did not even look at xray, few questions. one hour wait at Poe

march 10th marriage (nikkah at the islamic center)

aug 2006 AOS interview, cond 2 yr GC arrived september

June 2008 applied for removal of conditions on permant residency aka awaiting for 10 yr greencard

Dec 2008 10yr green card approved, no interview.

This may be more of a site-related topic, but I haven't found the search feature to be terribly useful when looking for an old thread. (Of course, I could be doing something wrong.) I was thinking it would be funny to unearth my Gallery o' Bad Hair thread from a while back--maybe 18 months ago? I can't remember exactly. I imagine that many of the photos have broken links now, but it would be fun to see GaryC's awesome high school yearbook photo again. And perhaps solicit bad-hair photos of more recent VJ members...

September 20, 2005: K-1 Interview in London. Visa received shortly thereafter.

AOS

December 30, 2005: I-485 received by USCIS

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008

Yeah I found it on the 4th page and Bumped it, We have to pester charles to re post his pics. Some links are still up though. I have to dog for mine, most I left at my Mom's when I moved here to an apartment.

I just did a search for "bad hair" with the quotation marks and the thread was on the 1st page

without them the thread was on the 4th page..

Groovy! I searched for "bad hair" in the search field at the top of the page, and it produced nothing. Is there a different search field other than that one? I'm clearly doing something wrong...

Edit: I think I found it! "Forums search" Geez, I've only been a member since 2005... :wacko:

Groovy! I searched for "bad hair" in the search field at the top of the page, and it produced nothing. Is there a different search field other than that one? I'm clearly doing something wrong...

yeah at the bottom of each forum there is a search bar, on the left hand side

It is often the case that Google may link a person to an old thread or even that the "similar thread" feature on the bottom (scroll down) makes a mistake and lists an old topic. My best guess is that people click through to a topic and accidentally reply not having seen that the topic was indeed old. Honest mistake and certainly in these cases the 'thought' certain still counts that they wanted to give some honest and sincere feedback, thanks or congrats :).
