Do you think Pepe and Manong AJ (El Ilocano) are one and the same? I do.

:o

Can you read minds Linda?

Not every time but on this one, my sixth sense tells me so.

Look girls, you should be full of shame, Pepe Alvarez and I ain't one and the same.

Pepe’s wife, Pilar is the name for her, while Señora Bonita is my wife’s VJ monicker.

Señor Pepe is a Texan-Mexican, while I am a Genuine Ilocano born and raised in Vigan.

He is from El Paso, close to the Rio Grande, and I am in California’s Riverside County.

So, por el amor de dios chiquitas, tell me, tell the world that Pepe Alvarez ain’t me.

However, there might be some similarities; for example, we’re both into things Spanish.

Pepe probably likes to eat Tex-Mex menudo, which is the same as pinapaitan in Ilocano.

Furthermore, our wives both come from Davao, the most desirable place in Mindanao.

Now, why do I write like this? As if I am influenced by Jack and his wife Anais.

Hi rheanick,

I’m amazed that you still remember our posts on tapas on the Noli Me Tangere thread a long time ago. Yes, I love tapas indeed, especially croquetas de jamón with a glass or two of sangria.

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

I was off from work yesterday and I asked Mr. Bill if I can tag along with him to work. He says, "No! You're a jinx. You're going to cause the truck to break down again". His truck break down twice and each time I was sitting on the passenger seat. He said I have a birthmark in my butt. I don't think so. Do you guys believe in "balat sa pwet"?

Nope. Its the truck. Tell Mr. Bill to buy a new truck.

He bought that truck almost 3 months ago. It's a used truck anyway. It's his work truck. Thanks Rheanick. I don't believe in that too.

Hi NArocks! I don't know what'as going on with the truck. He would not let me seat in the passenger seat no matter how much I beg him to. I give up. The last time I check he took the truck somewhere. It's still running. :star:

Don't worry too much about what I posted about the birthmark thing. It's a Filipino thing. We have this silly superstition that if you were born with a birth mark on your buttocks, and when you are in a vehicle and then it breaks down, chances are you are a jinx (malas).

Mr. Bill still doesn't believe I don't have birthmark. He wants to use a magnifiying glass to find it, but I won't let him. I'm shy.
