For those of you who have been waiting for over 6 months... warning don't bash me.

I'll be entering my 5th month and no word or letter yet. I started the "call-you-senator" process recently only to be informed of what USCIS voice response system would have told me. The only tinge of hope is when supposedly they said "she should hear from us soon". I guess some state delegates are better than the other. I'm losing my mind!

im sorry u have not heard anything yet but it should be pretty soon.

just try to stay busy while u wait or do something that u think ur s/o will enjoy when he or she gets here, like a scrap book of ur adventures or ur favorite places or a daily diary of how ur days go while waiting.

i will put u in my prayers

Losing your mind is normal; it doesn't get any easier until you get NOA2. Hang in there and try to find something to redirect your frustrations toward. We waited over 6 months, so I can relate and honestly, Senators don't make much difference in my opinion. USCIS does what they want whenever they feel like it.

NOA 2. Really?

It is frustrating but it is the process, find something to do with your time besides obsessing. It really does no good, state delegates can help in some respects WHEN THE time comes. Until then they will get nothing done because it is not time for them to do ANYTHING that matters. Once you reach the 6+month timeframe they can push some buttons.

Its like you telling a friend you will pick them up at 4pm to go somewhere they have to be at

5pm, then out of the blue they start calling you at 2:30pm. GET IT!

Very frustrating..but as others have said..once you hit 6 months then the congressman/ senator can possibley do something or the ombudsman. Until then we wait like everyoen else.....i don't bother to complain much as i feel like crying everytime i see poor Estadia (sara) still here. If she can survive most of us can too.
