Yes, Andrew did ring them several weeks ago and they said we were in the active part of the processing and that we would have to wait to put in a formal enquiry until the USCIS processing date is 30 days past our NOA1 which it still isn't. The AILA processing date was the 3rd of January so the new USCIS date is likely to be the same which is 2 days short of our date the 5th of December.

Andrew has just bought a house & so needs to change address with them tomorrow and so he is going to try again then, to try to find out something anyway. It takes a long time to get through to a human on the phone though at the USCIS and as he is having a lot of problems with the new house and moving, and working. I begged him not to spend too much time trying. See what happens though.

If you are talking of the Timelines on here, they are just the averages of us all waiting for the Nebrasca Service Centre on this particular site. These times will be shorter waiting times than before because of these more recent NOA2's lately with such short waiting times.

Please though guys don't let our long wait dishearten you, we are a little unusual and the majority go thru much quicker than us. The other fellow that has been waiting several weeks longer than us was sent a letter to say his name was going thru security checks now, 4 months after their NOA1. Maybe this is what has happened to us. By their time measuring stick, we really do have to wait until that date reaches 5th of December to get any real answers at all. From what I have read the people answering the phones are just contracters with no more information than what we can access off the same USCIS site.

We both feel we have waited all our lives to find each other, so even though this is torture, at least we now know what we are waiting for.

5-6-2006 Received Criminal History Check in the mail and posted off back to consulate with passport etc hoping for it's return with visa in two weeks.

14-6-2006 Passport and visa recieved in mail. Visa issued the 13th.

24-6-2006 USA here I come

26-7-2006 Received Social Security Card in less than 5 working days after applying.

Just an update after browsing through everyone's timelines. Congrats to all! Also, I wish we were all as lucky as LostInIllinois!! 2 days for approval is rather mindboggling. :blink:

I was wondering the same thing. Really I think it's a typo or something - how would that be possible??????

I've looked into it a bit and it's definitely not a typo. Not sure how it's possible, but it appears to have actually happened. I guess their petition ended up going straight on top of some active officer's pile by accident instead of in the big stack of petitions waiting to be assigned to officers. I imagine that once an officer starts looking at your petition, it doesn't really take long for them to approve it if nothing is missing and there are no complications.

I dont understand the process mechanism of nebraska??? You are very lucky. I am waiting for 2 months to get NOA2 which is not good. It seems not possible to get it soon. Because they have changed my status from 60-90 days to 80-110 days :( What am i going to do? It kills me.

It is the slowest center :crying:

I am waiting impatiently. :(

There are been quite a few people with their NOA1s from the end of January who have been recieving their NOA2s recently, which mean's Nebraska is getting closer to working on those with February NOA1s. 4 May 2006: NOA2!!!!! (DAY 66)

8 May 2006: File Sent to NVC (as stated on email dated 9 May)

24 May 2006: NVC sends our file to London Embassy

8 June 2006: Packet 3 arrives (DAY 101)

25 August 2006: Pack 3 sent to London Embassy registered post

29 August 2006: London Embassy receives my Pack 3 - 9/9/06 pack 4 arrives

SEPT 2006:APPLICATION PUT ON HOLD - WE HAD A FALLING OUT.

MAY 2007:RESUMED THE VISA APPLICATION

6 June 2007: Medical @ 2.30pm - need to get anew GP letter and psychiatric evaluation

7 June 2007: INTERVIEW @ 10am - waiting for new police record letter

3 July 2007: APPROVED/Visa arrives

11/24/2007 - Married!
03/31/2008 - Received Green Card
05/03/2010 - Conditions removed

Finally applying for citizenship!

01/19/2016 - Filed N-400
01/25/2016 - NOA
02/17/2016 - Biometrics appointment
02/26/2016 - Receieved interview letter
04/01/2016 - Naturalization interview

Just wanted to stop by and congratulate all the new approvals and to remind everyone that Nebraska is so slow but your approval will happen :dance::dance: We were one of those that were never touched until our approval. Keep cheering each other on, it sure helps!!!!!!!! :yes:

Took 214 Days for a denial, but IN 205 days He will be HOME

6/10/05 Abdou arrives in America, what a happy day!

6/13/05 Applied for SSN

6/23/05 6 p.m. We were MARRIED; honeymoon in Gatlinburg

8/13/05 AOS and EAD paperwork mailed

8/25/05 NOAs in the mail!!! Yea!

11/25/05 - BIOMETRIC DATE

01/26/06 - AOS SUCCESSFUL INTERVIEW AND HE GETS HIS FIRST JOB AT FIRST JOB INTERVIEW

02/13/06 - GREEN CARD ARRIVED

4/22/06 - Driver's License!!

11/05/2007 Filed to Lift conditions[/color]

11/07/07 - NOA1 received

12/21/07 - Biometrics completed

04/08/08 - 10 YEAR CARD APPROVED

04/14/08 - CARD IN HAND !!!!!

11/3/08 - Filed for Citizenship

11/29/08 - Biometric Appointment

02/03/09 - Citizenship Interview, HE PASSED
