Submitting new I-129F before RFE

I submitted my I-129F pacakage on 7/5/06, TSC received on 7/7. I don't have NOA1 and case # yet.

I used the forms I received from USCIS forms order phone line at the end of June. Unfortunately I did not check the USCIS site and the forms they sent to me were old ones, without IMBRA questions.

I am just wondering if it will be beneficial (saves me some time) to send a new I-129F with IMBRA before getting RFE, asking them to replace the form in the file?

If yes, where should I send it provided that many cases were transferred to CSC? I guess I should wait for NOA1, right?

Can I call USCIS to clarify it? Does anybody have the USCIS phone # that answers these types of questions.

05 Jul 06 - I-129F mailed to TSC

07 Jul 06 - I-129F received at TSC

11 Jul 06 - NOA1 from CSC

14 Jul 06 - Check cashed

Hi, from what I've read on VJ and other forums, I think you'll have to wait for your RFE to be sent. And, yes, there's a chance your case will be transferred to CSC. You can try 1-800-375-5283

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

You should not do anything until you get your NOA1. It's probably best if you just wait for the IMBRA RFE. There's no certainty that you won't have to answer IMBRA questions even with the new I-129F form. Besides, if you don't have a criminal record, then IMBRA shouldn't slow you down very much. Hey, you would definitely not want to confuse USCIS with 2 applications floating around!

I agree - never a good idea to send them things they haven't yet asked for. They just are not organized enough to be able to put what you send with your original petition and it would probably cause more trouble in the long run. Hang tight until you get the RFE and then you should have smooth sailing!
