You'll probably get a "touch" first, but that's not a hard fast rule. Sometimes the online date never changes, even after you've gotten your NOA2 in the mail. But the norm is that you'll see the date change and the online status changed to approved. If you're subscribed, you'll see the email before anything else.

it really depends.. a few of the march filers didn't see anyting until they got the actual hardcopy letter in there mailbox and not the email type of mailbox. others have just gotten an email, and pretty much most of them are still showing as received and pending on the uscis online site.

i have no idea what is going on with CSC...april 27ppl are being approved and i'm still waiting..sigh. :(

a touch is a date change on your online status at uscis..

* Note on "Last Updated" date:

Your case may have a new "Last Updated" date and you may receive an Email Notification of your case being updated, without the status of the case changing. This is due to internal USCIS processing being performed on your Case. This will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date, but may not result in a different status message.

that is their polite way of saying it could be anything.

Touch is not 100% accurate. I just received my NOA2 today--and my application hasn't been touched at all, excluding the 1 change-of-address I did over the phone. In fact, the status on the site says "Pending"--while I'm holding the "Approved" notice in my hands.

I filed in March, so hopefully you won't have to wait much longer... Good luck! :)

Ohhh good to know that, I just check my status online and is the same Pending. I was worry it hasn't been touch in two months, but i think the average is three months and then I should start getting worry? It shouln't take more than 3 months right? unless is misplace or under something right? At least a RFE right?

Regards to all,

Eli

It took me 4 months at CSC, but the official site says that 5 months is the average:

So don't worry--just be patient. :)

3 Months VSC?

Not unless you have a military expedite... expect 5 months and if sooner.. great...

Based on YOUR timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between October 28, 2009 and November 12, 2009*.
