I filed the DS-160 online, expedited my checklist and DS-230... arriving by tonight. i know i'm seriously chomping at the bit, but I noticed it's possible to use a 1-900 number to schedule an interview. Is this possible for K-1 specifically?? and if so, would it be too soon to try doing this?

If I will probably get notice in 2 weeks or so from Montreal that I have an interview, then I think I can hang tight, but I would totally pay the charges to schedule something without having to wait for that.

What is your experience with how long it took from sending in the checklist DS-160 etc, to when you actually found out your interview date? (as opposed to when your interview date was, though this info is helpful too :star: )

thanks :) Karen

A 1-900 number? Hmmm is there something I don't know about

Well you can call DOS to see if you HAVE an interview scheduled, but you cannot schedule it yourself. Montreal decides the date and sends you the info in the mail
