I am finishing my I 134 for my joint sponsor. (Yes I am running late... my fiance's interview is Sept 1). My JS is married and both have income, so do I need to include the spouse as a dependent where they ask for the list of dependents (question 8)? I don't want to make a mistake now!

By JS I presume you mean "joint sponsor" ?

The I-134 is an individual form and only one person can be considered. The person is correctly a "co-sponsor" not a joint sponsor. A joint sponsor, such as on the I-864a (same household) combines their income with yours for cosideration, a co-sponsor on the I-134 does not. If the co-sponsor is married only the income of ONE person counts. If they both have income his/her spouse does not have to be counted as a dependent as they have their own income and presumeably support themselves. CHILDREN would be counted. The individual co-sponsor's income must be sufficient to support his/herself and your fiancee. Is is not combined with your income. They also need to attach all the documentation, income information, tax returns, etc., that you do and attach documentation that they are a US citizen or LPR. They would attach ONLY their w-2 to the tax return to delineate their income from their spouses on a joint tax return.

VERMONT! I Reject Your Reality...and Substitute My Own!
