It says I need to submit a copy of a document, showing my status in the USA. I came on J1, changed it to F1 a year after. What do I need to submit? I-94? i-20? or both?

If I need I-20, I have the following question. I changed several colleges during my years in the USA, and each of them issued a new I-20 for me. Then, I got married and changed my last name, they issued a new I-20 for me. Thus, I have 5 of them, the most current of them is valid, I keep others just for my own record.

If I need to submit a copy of I-20, do I need to submit copies of all 5 of them or just the latest? The latest I-20 shows my legal status just for the last year, not for the whole period of time I study in the USA. Do I need copies of all of them?

Place a copy of all. There is no such thing as sending in too many documents. better more than Less.

that is what exactly what I am thinking. Do you think I need just to submit them or it is better to write a note-explanation about my I-20s?
