I-864 accepted by NVC but Consulate asking for Assets??

They accepted my Affidavit of Support at the NVC without any request for more information, but the Sydney Consulate sent a checklist along with the interview date asking for my assets and my wife's. Is this normal procedure? Thanks everyone.

no, This is not usual. But may be the income you hsowed in I-864 is just above or on the border of minumum level. And they just want to make sure...I guess just show them what ever asset you have...I haven't shown any of my asset as my salary was more than enough for 864 and did not get any RFE for it ..

NVC

43 Days To approve appliation at NVC

Removign Condition from greencard

2011-09-25 ; Greencard Expire

2011-06-27 : application filed 91 days to go before Greencard expire
