Nebraska Service Center: No I-130 Processing Dates?

Does anyone have an explanation for why the Nebraska Service Center is not showing processing dates for the I-130? :unsure:

I am from Ohio, petitioning for a CR-1 for my wife, and I am 99.9% sure I was supposed to use the Nebraska Service Center for my I-130 submission... :unsure:

07/03/2006 Express Mail signed for at NSC

07/08/2006 Found out on VJ that my case is transferred to California (CSC)

11/20/2006 DS-3032 and AOS Fee Bill generated

11/21/2006 Emailed Choice of Agent (from wife/non-USC) in lieu of DS-3032

I believe it is because your I-130 will be transferred to California, same as Texas.

Check CSC for processing dates!

Was I deceived? Should I have known this before hand? Is there some last minute verification I could have done to prevent sending my paperwork to the "wrong" service center... i.e. the one the goverment has posted that I am "supposed" to send it too? :angry:

I have noticed several threads about service centers changing right now, is the whole service center thing being reorganized, and if so, where do we go to find out what is REALLY going on? :unsure:

I'm tempted to resubmit everything to the NEW service center, including paying a duplicate fee, just to get the process moving a little faster... is that a realistic consideration? :unsure:

Nebraska and Texas transfer all I-130 to California. Initially, you need to submit your I-130 to Nebraska, you can not send it directly to California, since Nebraska Service Center has jurisdiction over Ohio.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

No, nothing you could have done...it has to go to the originating service center first.
