The USCIS has me confused, and I must admit, it isn't the first time! If one looks up the local office for Pensacola on the USCIS website it is Jacksonville, FL. My DIL's biometrics were for New Orleans, which is actually 150 miles closer to them than Jacksonville (350 miles vs. 200).

We're trying to anticipate where the AOS interview will be. Does anyone have any educated guesses?

Thanks,

If you follow this link: https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=of....office_type=LO and type in your zipcode at the bottom of the page where it asks, it will tell you which field office is yours.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Thanks. That is the link I followed in the past. We're still hoping they'll make the AOS appointment for New Orleans, since that's what office the USCIS selected for the biometrics. It cuts 300 miles off the trip and makes it actually do-able in one day. I am wondering if they are moving some cases to New Orleans because it's much closer. Prior to the biometrics appointment letter arriving I assumed everything would be in Jacksonville.

I appreciate that. They went there week before last for her biometrics, which is one of the reasons I'm confused. They took a swamp tour and ate BBQed shrimp. The text from her said he admitted that the ones I fixed for his birthday were better than theirs. Did I mention that I have a really sweet daughter-in-law? When's he is classed he can't just bow out for an appointment, so hopefully it will be closer to home.

Thanks for the feedback on the office.
