G-325A - why is it in quadruplicate?

Hi,

I downloaded the G-325A from the USCIS website. It looks like the same 1 page form, copied 4 times.

Do I and my fiancee have to send in 4 copies of the same form, or can I just fill out the one-page document, and send it in as a single copy?

I'm just wondering why there seem to be four identical blank pages to fill out.

Yup, all the copies are the same and you do have to fill all four of them out. My guess is that each one gets sent to a different person. There is silly rumor going around that the USCIS made too many copies of the G-235A so to get rid of them they make us file it four times, but I highly doubt that.

Thats right you have to do all four. Notice the codes on the bottom each goes to different office after you turn them in.

The very bottom of each page is different, indicating where it goes to. Yes it is silly

If you fill it out electronically in Adobe the 3 pages automatically will fill out if you choose the option when you first start typing in it.

When I started filling it out, I was never prompted by the software to see if I would like it to autofill the other pages.

I would prefer to type this information out, so if anybody knows how I can get Adobe to behave the way I want it to, please help.

The forms are the same, but they eventually go to different Govt offices. You need to file all 4. And ignore the rumors. When USCIS gives you a document to complete, they expect all oages and lines to have information where applicable. Or you'll get one of those RFEs!!

I see it was answered in your other thread, but the demo version of Acrobat7 will save the document changes and will autofill the back 3 pages.
