My AOS interview is tomorrow. I don't need to bring the chest xray right?

Your interview notification letter should have an list of what you will need to bring. Just bring your evidence and the contents of that list.

I did not bring the chest x-ray with me. As Rob stated, take a gander at the interview letter and it states everything that you are required to bring. I actually liked that, unlike the K1 interview letter, they included a list of what was necessary.

Far as I know, they don't. If it had shown a problem, it would've resulted in other tests. If it didn't, it's pretty much useless.

The instruction sheet they hand you when you arrive for the IR-1/CR-1 interview says that, once you've completed the medical, US immigration has no further need for the x-ray, but to instead hang on to it to give to your primary care physician for your permanent medical file once you've immigrated. Would have been nice of them to tell us that before we lugged it all the way there. :P

Approved today at interview.

My appointment was at 1pm. We got there at around 12:20pm and we weren't called until 1:45pm! Good old LA.

Just asked some simple questions and reviewed the content in my package.

Looked at our photos, that's it. Didn't keep any evidence.

We didn't have any joint anything, which he was iffy about but we still made it.

Interview was 30 minutes long.

No more USCIS until February 2012 wee :D

Congrats Rhiann.

My interview was very strange. He kept asking us random questions like what kind of cars we drove and what we liked to cook. We showed him photos from last year and from our wedding. I was not told at the end if I was approved or not.

My fiance' was reading the information sheet Montreal gave him for Adjustment of Status and it makes a statement about not filing for advanced parole until USCIS tells us they received our I-485. What say you all? I told him that the I-485 instruction sheet says to do the employment authorization document AND advanced parole together. We will be adjusting from the K-1 visa in July once we get married. My fiance' and I both thought it was a weird instruction to wait for "AP". I figured we would just file I-485, employment authorization, and advanced parole in one package.

Lila those instructions are if you do just the 485 i believe, just follow the vj instructions and do it all together as a whole package the 485, 765, and the 131.
