AP approved today but still no touches on my EAD, not that I really expect anything to show up online for it as it took till my biometrics for it to even show up online.

congrats!! EAD probably soon...those emails are funny. You can check it in the afternoon...and nothing. Then later in the evening..there it will be.

Yeah its wierd, its an email saying they sent it out yesterday... I dunno I don't have much faith in their online system anyway, was just nice that one thing finally actually showed up like it was suppose to. I'm hoping Peachy's was approved too, cuz her NOA date is the same as me :D

No mail today.

Here's hoping April brings me something.

I wouldn't quite worry about the online thing, mostly because the notifications can be somewhat delayed. For mine, even though my Green card production was ordered on 3/22, I noticed that I was actually PR since 3/18 (last touch I had was 3/15).

I'd love it if I could go home for a week or so before my interview... as I know I probably won't start looking for a job until after my green card is in hand...

I didnt want to put myself on my husband's bills until I could change my name on my SSN but they wont let me... so I have to do it in my maiden name then change it all.

This'll be fun.

It's on May 5th at 1pm.

It's so weird how you guys are getting your interview letters before your EAD/AP approvals. They must be really behind or something...

Yeah, it's been happening alot actually.

Most of the people in the February thread get their letters before their EAD/AP.

That's strange.. :unsure: Just having the marriage license isn't enough proof that your name changed? I'm sure everything will work out for you. Glad to hear you got your interview and now you know they didn't forget about you.

No, the marriage license isn't enough for that office.

They want my EAD.

I know the bank doesn't need my SSN, which is nice, but my passport's still in my maiden name :lol:

I guess they take a form of identification and an old bank card.

Rhiann- That sounds really really annoying. But, congrats on getting your date! At least you know what's going on with your case now.

They are behind on my EAD and it is FRUSTRATING! It seems every other January filer has gotten their EAD and AP. My daughter even got her AP. I have no idea what the holdup is, but if it doesn't come today I'm probably going to lose the amazing job offer that was extended to me 2 weeks ago :(
