Well My NOA date for AOS is August 6 and still no bio appt. I think mine got lost in the mail and now my husband has to wait 30 days for a service inquiry. People with dates after me have recived their bio notice so I am sure ours is lost. I guess this will put a delay in for us :(

Does anyone know if you can make an infopass appt prior to the 30 day mark at your local USCIS office to inquire about it? I am off work Monday Aug 31 and would really like to be able to go with my husband for his biometrics since he has no clue where to go and I really don't want to have to take another vacation day to mess with USCIS.

Even though it's hard to compare yourself to others, try not to.... just because other people got their bios who filed the same time as you doesn't mean yours is lost.... Your NOA was dated August 6 that was only a few weeks ago, so give it a bit more time before making an infopass appt. Some bio appts take longer than others

Well, there are a handful of people in the July filers that have lost bio notices. They were advised to wait the 30 days, even after numerous calls to the SC....and it would appear that an INFOPASS is not an option for this...they take a service inquiry and start to do a search at 30 days. Then you are not allowed to call back until after another 45 days...these people are pretty ticked....

Go peek in to the July filers and PM some of those people, they may be able to explain the process better.

There is always hope...good luck.

My package was received in Chicago today :)

How long does it normally take to get your NOA? And then the Bio appointment? I should probably do some research...

I told ya!!!! :)

My son and I went for our bio appmnts today. We were the first there and were out in about 20 mins...

Still no touches...but hopefully now that we did out our bio...things will get moving :)

Hapycloud, you are going to the same office right? It's in a strip mall, next to grocery...it's misleading cause the big sign says 'Application Processing Centre' I was expecting a USCIS sign...just an FYI...

Woohoo! that's great news! How amazing is it that you likely will not have an interview and not have to prep all that proof etc...!!!

My husband banks all paperless and we are still unpacking...if I had to get all this proof together, I don't know where I would start! lol...

Well, I got my EAD in the mail on Saturday!

Hey that's great news! Just in time for your job hunt! Good luck!
