Definitely bring your marriage license -- my driver's license and NOA were in different names (maiden and married), so they had issues with it.

My appointment was for 10 am and I came at 9:55, waited for maybe 10 minutes and then was called for the fingerprinting. Its really, really fast!

Rhiann -- thats crazy!

Anyway my GC has been officially transferred to CSC! Woohoo!

And my new employment has accepted my EAD, so I am now officially making some much-needed $$$!

Finally married... and still married... ;)

Green card received: March 18, 2011

Removal of Conditions:

GC Expiration: March 11, 2012

Documents sent: December 13, 2011

NOA-1 received: December 15, 2011

Check cashed: Red said yes when asked

Biometrics: January 25, 2012

Letter approving 10-year GC: September 7, 2012

Production of 10-year GC: September 15, 2012

Thanks Hugglebuggles and darkchilde794! I'll just get there 10 minutes before, and bring my marriage certificate, passport, birth certificate, and everything else. My marriage certificate is a bit weird, though. It only has my maiden name, and my husband's name, and I literally had to change my name at SSA, so I suppose it doesn't hurt to bring that, either.

Anyway, hope things will go well!

So....I was touched on all apps both on Friday and today! Wow, during the K1, I was never really touched, and now it looks like I'm touched all the time!

There's a form to fill out if you want them to send you emails. But you'll get a number like for the I-129F and you can track it online.

I'm guessing that's just the same thing as when you sign up for status updates and then opt to sync it to your e-mail? I found the USCIS status update system pretty messed up. I got 3 e-mails saying they approved my EAD, all on different days, including one after I already had it, and then they sent me an e-mail telling me they sent an AOS approval notice after I not only had a hard copy of the notice, but the actual GC in my hand. It was also on the second stage of processing until the day after my interview... never touched for biometrics or interview, or anything else.

Tina: Wow, that was REALLY fast! Congrats!

Huggles: yeah mine too, I got 3 diff EAD approvals, no approval for AP but it arrived and 3 diff notification that my case got transferred... :P

Congrats to everyone who has had their apps touched!
