I really have no idea Joyce. I'm not sure that sending in a new I-864 would be the best idea, because then it might seem like you were working illegally (which WE know you weren't!) but then decided to deny if after they questioned it. I would suggest posting this question as a good topic either here or in the AOS forum, just because there are probably some people who could help you but don't see a need to read the AOS thread. If I remember correctly trailmix is the go to gal as far as the I-864 goes.

Thanks Huggles. I think I'll copy and paste it in the AOS thread and see what happens too. I plan to fully explain where the benefits come from, and send in proof for it, which I already had the first time around.

The other thought of course is an infopass, or getting the congressman or senator involved. You'd think claiming my survivors benefit wouldn't be a big deal. It IS income, just from Canada, and only because my husband died. And it's not like hundreds of $$$$$ a month or anything either.

And we got a knock on our door this morning from UPS delivering my long-form birth certificate, so we actually have plenty of time to get it back in the mail, but hopefully we can get on that on Friday, with plenty of time to get the 20 minutes to the USCIS office before December 17th.

I may soon be able to forget about USCIS for a couple of years!

I hope you do too!! I'm hoping my EAD and AP will be approved regardless of the RFE we got. It would be nice to finally start collecting a little EI.

I called Canada, ( they're so nice..) and asked for a detailed letter explaining my survivors benefit, that it's from Canada, and I will continue to receive it even after becoming a LPR. I'll still add a letter myself stating it's NOT income from the US.

Now...to clear up Tim's part of the RFE...

Congrats huggles & cdneh!!

Joyce- did you send in response to your RFE yet?

Well ladies and gents have a small question for you. As you can see from my signature I have had alot of touches on my 485 since CSC transfer. What is going on? I'm so nervous about RFE! Do I just have a touch happy adjudicator? Or is my file not even with one yet & getting transfered from crate to crate?!

I guess we will never understand the inner workings and what these touches mean! I know that beggars can't be choosers, but at this pt it would be nice to see a touch on my 765/131. Those haven't been updated since 11/20 & 11/03.

Quick question on G325a -- is this new form the lame one where you have to write on it? :P

Im sure its somewhere in the thread... or not... anyway has anyone who is AOSing around this time used it and just wrote on it?
