Had my bio appt today!! I stressed out too much about it, it was a piece of cake! Everyone was really friendly, except the young guard that was trying to be so serious after I smiled and said hello! LOL!

Hoping for some action on my cases soon!!!

Great news Minnew! I'm sure all will be smooth sailing from this point on. I have a strong feeling we'll have an interview because we have the RFE. Oh well...Thankfully we're together for all of this.

Congrats Minnie! I waited four months after my transfer to get my approval, but I will say that it was SO worth it not to have to worry about an interview!

Joyce- Have you gotten the hardcopy of RFE? I'm crossing my fingers for you that it's a simple RFE. I hope you get transferred to CSC after RFE!

Thanks Minnew! I hope it's simple too. We should be back home tomorrow ( 21) and the mail is held until Monday so if it's come in I'll see it then, otherwise it should be sometime next week anyway.

my GC pic could have been better lol...oh well...my DL pic is awesome! haha...best ID pic I have ever taken! My son looks so cute in his GC pic...so official...his little head looking up...looks like a mug shot for being booked! lol...hopefully it is the only one of this kind he will ever have lol

Had the biometrics today, probably the easiest part of this whole process! After he took my picture, he asked if it was ok, and I said "it's fine, it looks like me. Course I wouldn't send it to Dad!" He laughed at that

My RFE letter came in too!! Now...a couple of questions. We're wondering the best approach on this.

Tim is on disability and does not pay or file tax returns, so he doesn't have one for 2008. He did however send his 2007, and 2006 with the AOS package, and I guess assumed that they would see he's on disability, ( he sent the letter that shows what his monthly income would be). Any suggestions on what he should send in? I mentioned writing a letter and getting it notarized that he doesn't file taxes anymore.

There is also the part of the household member's income added to the yearly household income. I had added the fact that I receive a monthly (from Canada) survivors benefit. The instructions when filling out that part only stated that the income could be included if it was from the same source and continual, ( or something like that). Now of course they want proof that I'm authorized to work in the US, which of course I'm not at this time. So I can not send in any of the examples they list. I also included in with the AOS package from my taxes last year the amount that I received, so that they would see what benefit I was getting. Again, I thought of writing a letter explaining that I will receive that benefit, even though I'm married and live in another Country, and will do so till the day I die. I did not realize that it might not be allowed to be included with the household income. Ugh...what to do??? what to do??? We have 87 days to respond.

I can see an interview for sure with this mess now!!

I'm thinking we'll fill out the affidavit of support AGAIN but this time leave off my benefits that I get. That way, USCIS will have two copies, one with it, and one without. *shrugs* I'm just kinda grasping at straws as how to fix this little problem...
