Thank you very much!

We are now filling our the I-131 and are not certain what the "Class of Admission" in part 1 refers to. Can someone please advise?

Thank you.

Well, I could probably be wrong, but I just put K-1 on mine, as that is the status that I was when I entered the States. ( Or whatever status someone is I guess)

I'm hoping that if I made *tiny* errors here and there, that it's not going to be major and can be easily corrected or interrupted the right way at there level. Worse case scenario, they send it back with an RFE.....

You are Correct! if you entered with a K-1 then thats what your admission is!

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Congrats Inky! How great to get transferred and not have to worry about an interview!!!! :)

Just an FYI for those filling out forms. I was also confused with all the proper areas to fill out....A#'s, Visa type, Date of Entry etc....

What I found helpful, was to input key words into the VJ search box, such as 'Form I-485 I-94 number' or 'Visa type' or 'I-864 question #4'...and up would pop up previous threads with all these wonderful examples posted by past people...it really sped up completing the forms and I was sure that I was doing it right....It really is a helpful tool....

Good luck to all :)

I was so surprised, its so early plus I havent even done the biometrics yet too and they transfered it! Figured it would be another month at the least before it was transferd or anything like that.

Do all USCIS places do " drop in " biometric appointments or is it better to just wait for my appointment date to come up?

your in the wrong place to ask this question this is the thread for AOS. Adjustment of Status.

Just wait for the mail or call USCIS/NVC.

Not all places allow drop ins....I think it depends on their mood, or if they've had their morning donut and coffee lol :)

Some people have had success, others have been turned away. I say, if you are close, then give it a shot...if not, then wait...I really don't think it speeds things up that much faster... I got my CSC transfer before my bio appmnt too, and I got my AP/EAD approval 12 days after my bio appmnt...and my GC approval 30 days after my EAD/AP. It went really fast...all in all about 9 weeks.

Good luck :)

I don't know if mine was signed for or not, that part didn't say. Tim is sure it only got to the Post Office, which is still strange, being a Sunday night and all. I think I'll just say it was "delivered"..

I didn't even know that there was the option of "drop in" biometric appointments. When Mel and I went for her biometric appointment, there were two families that tried to just walk in. Both were turned away.

Can someone tell me about what kind of timeline to expect for my Biometrics? We're planning a trip to Mississippi for a couple weeks, but won't be leaving until Nov. 8th. I'm guessing that my appt. should be the week of Thanksgiving or the week after sometime. Do you get a letter to tell you when it is, or will I need to call the office to make the appt. myself?

I'm hoping we get a case # on the back of the cheque like we did before so we can track everything...

Thanks for your help.
