Not sure if I'm posting in the right place or not but I am already married to an American citizen and moved back to Canada to finish school. I was going to go through consular processing but I applied for a masters program in the US and my paperwork won't be complete in time for me to start classes so my plan was to enter the US as a visitor while my F-1 visa is pending with the school and file for adjustment of status to become a permanent resident while I am there.

My question is: will I be allowed into the country and will they hold it against me that I entered as a visitor and then filed for adjustment of status?

Hi ya'll

This is driving me Crazy...

I got a email last night saying that my AOS card is in production. I got the same email this morning. Then just a little while ago I got a email saying Decision. Is this normal??? These emails are driving me bonkers..lol..At one point I could not wait for a email from them..and now..well, it's making me nervous..

I might add that I was transferred to CSC and did not get a approved email notice before the card/production notice.

The same thing is happening to me! My AOS & EAD were approved on Feb 11th & AP on Feb 12th. Everyday it bounces back & forth between Decision & Card Production. Crazy. At least they are thinking of us. LOL!
