Approved after my interview yesterday.

it was so ridiculous. she didn't even ask about our marriage, she just went over the "are you a terrorist, communist, rapist, drug dealer" questionnaire that we have to check yes or no to in the initial application. she verified it then told me how to file for ROC when the time comes.

wow i drove ALL the way to Detroit ( 5+ hours) for THAT??! i almost got shot 9 times like fiddy !

but seriously though, with how slow CSC is going now, its worth it.

Congrats on the approval Missa!!

I thought that was a hilarious too. I enjoyed the part when they asked if I was a member of the communist party between a specific time frame, and I wasn't even born yet...

FYI the USCIS office in Detroit is in a VERY bad neighborhood. everything around it is all boarded up and slummy looking, then BAM in the middle of a slum; this huge pristine glass governmental building

Wow, I know my husband and I will go to Detroit if we aren't transferred to CSC but it seems the people in Michigan have been having their interviews, not transfers. Glad you made it out alive and didn't get shot.

No biometrics still? Seems weird especially with your transfer to CSC. But I guess one step forward is always good

No Biometrics letter yet... I called USCIS yesterday, they put in a service request for me, they told me it could take up to 45 days before i have any news. I hope it's gonna be quick! I need to start working really soon..

I am still waiting for my biometrics appt as well....and I sent AOS at the end of May  It seems it depends on how busy the service center is. I am getting hubby to contact the senator/congressman since next week we will be out of the 3 month processing window, and I still don't even have my appt!!! Hopefully it gets things moving again!
