I'm going to bet they probably lost his medical. I sent in EVERYTHING else they asked for and double an even triple checked it. I included a note on the cover page saying that I was sending his vaccination supplement because his medical was completed on Jan 5th and that it would be in the packet handed over at POE.

I mean really, that's the only thing it could be for. Grrrr.

Nope. I triple checked everything. I didn't want to lose time by getting an RFE so even at the last minute when I was getting ready to send it off I made sure I had signed everything and had included everything requested. I mean, of course there's ALWAYS a small chance that someone would over look something but I honestly don't think that was it.

I guess we'll know when it gets here, but dang, it's so annoying.

How the cheque has been made out is also an issue lately. They are really specific with that. Did you double check that? i had to redo mine as i forgot the xx/100 on my cheque..in canada i never wrote them like that.

We just sent the vaccination supplement. Reading about all these RFE's is making me really nervous ... I'm sure we'll get one similar. Our case hasn't been touched since we sent it in though so who knows, maybe they lost it altogether!

It blows my mind how they could lose the medical and then expect that the whole medical be done again ... which is EXPENSIVE, and never mind the fact that due to their rules most applicants aren't working as they're waiting for EAD. The whole process is just so frustrating, something really needs to be done to improve it.

Ohhh it's true it's kinda late, you can try for a walk-in though... At least now you have it, you know what's going on with your case, it's a lot better than when you didn't know at all!! :)

Hey there fellow Canucks!

Just checking in... Ashenflowers, I'm glad to hear that your RFE reply is now back in their hands. They approved my AOS just days after they received my second medical so let's hope it's the same for you! It still upsets me when I think about having to spend more time and money for THEIR mistake.

I'm just sending some big hugs out to all of you waiting. I think that this whole process is a true test of patience...

You can try going earlier, but they may turn you down depending on how busy they are. Some offices take walk-ins earlier and some do not, just depends.

ok, was just wondering if it's like the consulate interview where you are first come first served.

It might not be quick. I was there for a good half hour. The finger printing is much more intensive at this one than the ones we did before.
