Hey guys, I hope you all are doing good! I was wondering how could we know if our case has been "touched" on the uscis website? I know that we can access our case status, but how do I know that it was touched?

Thank you for your answers in advance!

Good stuff!

If things go well at the interview (I'm sure they will), you should get your card about 2 weeks after. At least Arya & I did.

Yes! And it was a very easy interview. Just make sure you bring lots of pictures. She bugged me that I only brought three hehehe But we don't take lots of pictures of us so she was ok with that.

BTW, I finally got my DL tonight! kicking.gif

we don't have alot of joint accounts cause he doesn't have insurance and the car is in his mothers name cause he fixed it up and is " borrowing it" we have our lease, bank account and the electric account is in both our names. we have wedding pictures of both our families together. i'm thinking of getting our landlord ( who is more like a grandfather) to write an affidavit for us or something.

other than evidence and the obvious IDs listed on the letter what do you have to bring. i noticed it says affidavit of support and your medical to bring those but then in parenthesis it says if not already submitted. i figure this is a generic letter but did they ask for any of the forms.

Congrats on the DL! Good feeling to be done with all that stuff eh?

I brought everything with me, but if you've already submitted it, they shouldn't need it...they didn't ask me for any of that.

A thing she wanted to see from us was proof that we lived together...so anything that has your address with your names on them is good. The bank statements, lease & electric are good examples. But if you want the landlord's affidavit, it won't hurt to bring more than not enough!

She only asked for my EAD card, my passport and my driver's license (the canadian one). No birth certificate or anything like that. Then she asked for the proof of our relationship. We had 4 joint bank accounts, health insurance and credit cards and I also showed a medical bill that DH paid for me. And then she asked for pictures. That's all
