Once you log in, the date last updated in the main menu (I think it's like the third column in) the date changes. So if ur NOA shows a date of Aug 1st, but the last update date on the main menu for EAD is Aug 8th, that then means that specific portion of ur case was touched.

I got 6 NOA', 3 for me and 3 for my son, one for each AOS, EAD and even one for AP. Just make sure youhave a sep tracking number for all three of them.

July have you signed up on USCIS website to get e-mail updates and check your account online? That's how you see if you've been 'touched'.... the date will be updated on your online account

That's what I thought! But, I only see once "touch" listed. Would they post multiple "touch" dates?

Also, only the EAD is posted there, not the AP, or anything else.

Here's what it says...

Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Case received and pending.

On July 29, 2009, we received this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

The proof thing is hard, especially because most couples have only been living together a few months before an interview.... things like lease/mortgage, bills, etc. in his or joint names.... Save envelopes with his address on them (to prove you live at the same address) Wedding albums is good too! Yeah I'm sure you'll get lots more tips at the AOS thread :)

We didn't get an NOA for the AP and the AOS and EAD both have the same number. So, I can't check them separately. *@$^@(*$(*$

We've got the wedding and honeymoon photo albums. Nice thing about the honeymoon album is we have pics from the cruise that have dates printed on them. Yea! Good idea about saving envelopes mailed to him here at the house. Thank you!!!

How about health insurance July? Are you listed under the same policy? Or life insurance, did you switch it to have him as your beneficiary? Or maybe you added him to your car insurance? Things like that would be good proof, I'm thinking.

BOOOO that sucks so bad! Were you transferred to CSC? Don't get a new medical.... just do the transcription. What about contacting Dr. Arnold in Texas? It's only like 50 bucks or something, alot of people do that

Okay, I need to clear up information from my previous posts...

I just realized (after talking with PopRocks... thanks, girl!) that we did receive the three NOAs. They were in the pile of mail we had waiting for us when we got back from the honeymoon. We were SO excited that they came, we didn't bother to really read them all. OOOOOOPPSSS!!! Then, the day after we got the HUGE pile of mail, we got the appointment notices.

So, we did get the NOA for the AOS, EAD, and AP (all dated 7/29). Then, a few days later we got the appointment notices for his biometrics (dated 8/3 with appt for 8/31... which he had done this morning).

So, we're all good, except for the idea of NOT being transferred... yet! :P

Sorry, chadlaure... Duncan's appointment notices were separate from the NOAs. :(

No problem! I've been thinking about that stuff lately, trying to figure out what kind of evidence we can gather since we live with the in-laws and don't have our own lease or utility bills. So far I'm thinking the health and car insurance, his life insurance (I'm the beneficiary), we have a joint bank account and a joint cell phone contract, wedding pictures, mail to the same address... and other than that maybe I should get his parents to write up some kind of rent contract? Theres still a possibility I'll get the transfer, but I'm usually not that lucky!

Tankgurl, that sucks! Did you have all your vaccinations done? I'm pretty sure I'll end up with one too, since I just sent in the worksheet and was missing my last HPV shot. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed though!

Well, we still haven't heard about our case being transferred, so I'm starting to think chadlaure was totally right about Detroit cases not getting transferred. :( Hmmm... anything can still happen.

I'm pretty sure we're not going to get transfered :(

Well I dont have the biometrics done yet so it's not like i'm even there yet
