I just got my AOS package in today as well hopefully it will be a quick smooth process *fingers crossed*. I didn't end up finding a civil surgeon that would just transcribe my vaccinations, but I did finally get a response from Dr. Seiden that the vaccination worksheet was inculded in the DO NOT OPEN medical package, so I sent it in with a similar letter as arabella did regarding not needing to have the I-693 if we has the overseas medical, so hopefully I will have no issues with that!!

GREEN CARD IN HAND!!!

Yay!! :) Congrats and have a wonderful trip.

I officially mailed off my aos package today via fedex. took a bit longer i expected but at least it's done now. OY, now i gotta figure out how to prove we live together :( no lease no utilities in laws are being..fussy. :(

I hope all goes smoothly for you. If you get transferred, you probably won't have to prove anything. However some things could include: Joint bank account; life insurance policies; cell phones on one account; extra credit card in your name on his account; both registered on the same vehicle. Just a couple ideas there.

Will you be getting a joint bank account? You can use things like that to show the same address. Keep every bit of mail you receive addressed to you or both of you too. Do you have Netflix? You could sign up under both your names for that as well.

Yes thankfully that was the first thing we did after our wedding the bank account, also he changed his employee file to married for his company, so health insurance and life insurance certificates with me as bene on both. Also our car insurance has me on it. But thats really it atm. Keep trying to get tmobile to add me to the mailing list for our bill, they dont show our names attached to the actual mobile numbers.

At least an rfe at this point wont be a killer for me lol. besides we are so dead broke atm it's not even funny.

Infopass today about my EAD.

I know my green card has been approved, but I'm sitting here still with NO ID and if they really didn't produce my EAD card, they have screwed me over right now because green cards are taking a long time.

I hope I get some sort of answer.

If your greencard has been approved, then wouldn't that make an EAD card invalid?

If it did, how do people still work when they're in limbo waiting on their green cards?

It's not like we have to pay to go to an infopass, and I really am curious to see if they produced it or not (or if it got lost), so it's more for peace of mind than anything.

When my wife got approved for her AoS, they took her EAD card and gave her a letter stating that she had been approved for her greencard. The interview officer told us that it would suffice for employment purposes.

I added a letter explaining that I had the medical as well and that the vaccination worksheet would have been included in the package I handed in at POE. I didn't recieve a vaccination worksheet to send in, so I am hoping that it was filled in correctly. I am not even sure if I could have vaccinations done at this point if they were required. Many of them you can't have when you are pregnant. I am going to discuss this with my ob/gyn on Monday and get a note just in case!!!

Well, I found out that FOR SURE my EAD card was not produced.

They said I should get my green card by the 12th though. (Yeah we'll see about that.)

Came home to another email saying they're sending another welcome letter.

And LA is hell for infopasses. We got there at 10:45am for my 11am appointment and didn't get called to a window till like... 1pm.

There's no fee for EAD & AP when you file it with AOS.
