me too ladies. i'll be interviewing in detroit , unless we get lucky and get transferred but its a little early for that.

its so weird. on the USCIS website when i put noa1 receipt number in it says nothing is found. is this like the check the update on your i-129f k1 petition, except it never EVER shows anything? ...how annoying.

Great! I'll let you know how my interview went :) I'm not sure about USCIS website, why yours doesn't work. Maybe you need to wait couple of more days. What I did is sign up for an account, where you can see every time they touch your file. Mine hasn't been touched since May 10th, but I got the interview letter anyway.

I wonder why CSC is taking forever?

I hope all your CSC transfers here something soon.

anyway,

i sent in the paper to receive email updates an whatnot with my case file. so far we haven't heard anything. such a silly inconsistent service.

do you guys think that you get your GC faster if you do an interview or if it gets transferred to CSC. or does your app go to CSC after your interview anyway.

just curious

Right now it looks to be faster to have an interview but theres a lot of us who havent gotten ours in the mail due to the backlog caused by the change of the card.

It's really depressing going to the mail seeing 10 envelopes and none are for me.

Yes, I did my bio in Detroit. It was really easy, it didn't take 10 minutes and we were done.

Finally received my EAD in the mail today.

Congratulations!!!

I figure the only reason they're sending the emails is so that those 'updates' change the date in their system, thereby pushing back the magical 30-day window yet again so I can't call and ask what's going on.

I got emails when I sent the AOS and then didn't get anything else until I went to the USCIS website and signed up for email notifications. Maybe you have to do that too.
