Chadlaure - I meant to say 2 more weeks for the biometrics letter to arrive .

The Lord is my strength and my shield,

My heart trusted in Him and I am helped,

therefore my heart greatly rejoices,

and with my song I will praise Him.

i got the NOAs, im waiting on the biometrics letter

Most people have been getting them at 7-10 days...BUT, some people do get it anywhere between 1-3 weeks....USCIS says to wait 30 days before making an inquiry...hang in there...you will not see an update for bio on their site...it will just come.

I know...waiting sucks ;( I just want my AP so I can go visit my family back home....

Hey Canadian thread :) I just posted this in the August 2009 AOS forum, but thought maybe my buddies here might have some insight :

Hello everyone!! I am now completely confused as to where my adjustment of status case will be processed. Here are the two posts I am referring to:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Case Transfered to Another Office for Processing

On August 21, 2009, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

OK so that was on 8/21/2009, then yesterday I got this:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

So the 2nd one now makes it sound like my case is going to be processed at my local office??? OR does it mean CSC has now received the transfer???? I am now completely confused :bonk:

Oh, they just cashed my check! Maybe this means I'll get my NOA's soon :)

Congrats Huggle!!

Still no bio letter for us :crying:

I didn;t get my bio notice for 2 weeks, and I was stressing just like you, hang in there, once you get that notice seems like things start moving alot faster :)

No it sounds like it is now pending at CSC... they notified you it was being transferred to CSC and now it's there pending. So you should be approved without an interview! The second notice says nothing about a local office.

Yup....going back to Cali...to Cali.... lol

I got two notices too...one saying that it was being transferred to CSC and another saying it is 'pending at a USCIS' office...meaning that CSC has now rec'd it! So, you have officially been transferred! Congrats! Here's to hoping history depicts future and we don't get interviews lol...

I do see that interview visa's are running at almost the same pace...maube a few weeks behind, but it's nice to not have to stress for all the file prep stuff :)

happy cloud, I got the same two emails. I was stressed out about the second one. My case was transferred to csc on July 24th. The last time I got a touch was Aug 3. So now I am waiting, I hope the card is on its way ...

Thanks, yeah I was completely confused I assume it meant it was now at CSC but the letter is so darn vague and is longer than what I posted. So thanks for everyone answering, I feel better now :)

Congrats! What will you be doing?

I start my new job Monday. I had a conference call with someone at my new job today to get the lay of the land before I start since he's on vacation next week and it seems promising. I'll be working at a PR agency in NYC.
