I posted this in the K3 forum as well.....

Finally Finally our case now sent to Montreal Embassy (case was completed with NVC June 6, 2006) . Good news is even though when the case was completed, NVC said allow 8 weeks it only took 4 weeks and 1 day... hey perhaps they are getting a bit caught up and/or orgainized??? One can hope right?? just a dollar and a dream??? oops with this stuff it has been more than a dollar but closer to our dream.

Let's just hope and pray the Embassy doesnt take forever!! ( I have read nitemares about Montreal Embassy back log)

By the way.... earlier on I was informed NVC would be scheduling our interview with Montreal ( our papers from NVC indicates CR1) and then notify us. Does anyone know if this is true? Oh gosh hope we dont have to wait for all the package stuff from Montreal because we have already done it all with NVC. Great another worry.... :crying:

Any insight would help tremendously

As Always thank you all (F)

Congratulations! I got the same message today on the automated system today... case forwarded on July 7. The best part is this: My husband called the consulate yesterday and they said we are on the list for an interview in August. They gave him the date but I want to wait for the letter before I post it. I just want to make sure this is for real. :) I'm guessing our K-3 interview will be cancelled soon.

Waiting4goozy, I'm sure your CR-1 interview is around the same time as ours is... it will be soon!

And yes, I am nervous. We have not lived together before getting married. But I stayed with him for almost 6 months after we got married last year. He lives in SoCal and I moved here in Quebec last year, so it's expensive to fly and see each other for a few days. Your lucky you live close to your husband.

I just want the interview to go well so that we could really start living our life together (and start a family). :)

Gerard and Mermaid, congratulations to you, too!

wow southern California...what a beautiful and WARM place to live... bet you wont miss the winds and snow of Canada lol..

you know I was thinking... we got the automated message saying sent to Embassy July 7th... and when your husband called... they said he was on list and interview date... hmmm that quick.. cant beleive mail was that fast... thinking NVC sent awhile ago but didnt release info to us yet... hmmm????

Oh well sometimes it is not worth the brain effort to figure out NVC. etc.. but I HAVE realized... no harm in calling often because things change everyday and many times way before you get written notification.
