Afternoon Jess!

I think Olivia was having problems with her internet connection at home and the last time she posted was at an internet cafe. Haven't heard from her lately. I think she is due to return stateside in a couple weeks also.

Good Morning MENA. My baby just got back....boy did I miss him! Found out the ex has a girlfriend....good for him! Maybe he will start to be a better dad now. Sigh......not gonna sit on that one. Feels kinda hot out....think I will take my boy swimming. Enjoy your day everyone!

Hello everybody! No plans here but trying to roll my husband's butt out of bed because he is on Egypt time or something and stayed up until 430am last night. Grrrrrrr...

Sharifah, sorry if I mispelled your name. It either gets better or gets worse. My ex actually got better when he remarried. His wife had two kids, 5 and 7 at the time. But when he was dating around he was a nightmare!! He would not work with me on visitation, not pay his part of anything but just his support and would cuss at me and everything...just a plain old grouch. Now for the the last year things have been good. I hope your ex continues to get better and isn't putting on a show for the girl for your son's sake.

Happy Sunday and hope everyone has a wondeful day.

We got up way to early and now Hasan is taking a nap so that we can go to the hotel and Casino. I guess we are going to leave in a couple of hours since check in is at 3. We are going to check out the mountains around this area and just take our time.

I weighed myself yesterday and I am not quite 2 months out of surgery and I have lost 30 pounds so far. So I am at 176 my target weight is 126 which is 80 pounds of weight loss the Dr said that 136 should be good so in betwen these too would be wonderful. I was so excited when I seen the scale. I only weigh every other week.

I opened one window earlier and it's hot as hell outside. Feels like Alexandria in the summertime. Blech. Wanted to do some gardening and clean up the back deck but instead I cranked up the a/c (hubby's working  ) and will allow myself to get sucked into Lifetime tv. I swear that channel is like crack! I don't know how they do it but within 5 minutes I can't change the channel. Funny thing is my husband likes it just as much as I do. I think it reminds him of his Egyptian stories that he watches all the time. :star:

I have a chicken in the fridge marinating in lemon zest, lemon juice, thyme and tons of garlic. My hands smell lemon-garlicy, yum! I had the chicken butterflied and will plop it on the grill later on tonight.:dance::dance: I hope there are leftovers so I can make a chicken salad.

Have a good one everybody!

Oh man, now I'm craving lemon chicken like crazy. I am busy trying to use up the food that we have here, though, before we leave, so I need to figure out something with the ingredients we already have on hand :P I'm spending time with a friend today before Abigail and I leave for Egypt, and probably will spend tonight waiting to hear if the DHL package has been delivered yet or not. Last night, after I learned it had been shipped, I slept pretty fitfully. I clearly remember a dream in which my childhood crush was the CO, and he mailed me a passport with a visa in it, but the passport was for a man named Javad, not my husband :P

Keep prayers and positive thoughts my way pleaseeeeeee.
