Biometrics appointment

Hi i finally got my biometrics notice today :dance: :dance: after i had to phone up and get a service request for it. but its dated for the 19th of august , and i was hoping that my ap and ead would be processed before then (i know wishfull thinking)

Has anyone gone and done a walk in at this office? more recent experiences the better?

or does anyone know if they can still approve the ap and ead before biometrics is completed?

my filing dat was the 18th of june and they are not too far off processing june eads according to vj timelines. my estimated date for ead and ap was the begining of august can i kiss this good bye if i can't do my biometrics till the 19th of next month?

I haven't read of a case recently of a person going to an ASC wanting to do a 'walk-in' biometric that was turned down. Most DO accept walk-ins as long as you have your appointment letter in hand.

oh right ok thanks Otto and Karin, perhaps i might try the walk in early and get it out of the way, i guess the worst they can do is tell me off for being too eager and to do what they want

if anyone has any experiences with los angeles w. pico office would still be nice to hear about them though.

Hannah+Vito, I got my letter yesterday (for Aug 18) and had my biometrics done today, but in a San Diego office. I just went inside and handed my letter to the lady at the front desk. They didn't even look at the date on my letter, so it really is worth a try, especially if the office isn't too far from you. Good luck!

I and my family walked in in Atlanta on April 4 this year.

It was a Saturday. We went in the morning and it was bit busy so

the security guy asked us to come at 2 in the afternoon which we did.

The place was dead. We were done and out in 15 to 20 minutes.

I would go for it.

You need the appointment letter and passport (Driving license is not

acceptable contrary to what the letter says)

Drivers liscense IS Acceptable! Thats what I have used. As long as it is from the state that you are in, and it is NOT expired.

Thank you guys! Anymore for anymore I was worried because someone posted in another thread that if it did not have specific days or hours sugested for possible walk INS that said center does not accept walk INS full stop? Mine has no metion of walk INS printed on it :s

Does anyone know if I phoned the number if they could tell me or would they give stock answer?

Anyone been to the office I have to go to?
