How did you find out you got approved (NOA2)? Email, snail mail, USCIS website?

All of the above. I noticed that the emails tend to come on the :15 and :45, at least for a handful or so of us approved around the same time.

I got a couple of emails from them but never got an email stating that I was approved. I, religiously, checked the USCIS every day after returning home from work and one day it surprisingly changed from 'recieved and pending' to 'approved'. A couple days later, I got the approval letter.

My fiancee got the email, but I never did, although both of us were signed up. However, the paper notice came in the mail to my address a short time later.

We were together when we found out. I was visiting Tim in SC for the month of April, and on the 16th, in the evening, he was at his computer, and he said to me..."look at this"....so I looked over his shoulder, and read the word..."approved"....and it took several seconds for it to sink in that I was reading THE EMAIL everyone waits for!!!!

I was so happy we were together when it happened...

i got the noa2 approval via snail mail. i signed up for email but did not receive one and i checked my case status online and it still has not been updated.
