that wans't the optin we had, she had return ticket to surat for yesterday.

One of my friend told me that it will come in 1-2 days, as they are prety good with courier services.

Wife's Visa Approved this Morning.

It was pretty straightforward she took it in English.

They asked:

Who is calling you here?

Where does your husband work?

What does he do?

When did you get married?

When are you planning to go to US?

Then she was asked to wait for 2nd interview

Almost same questions

Who is calling you here?

Where does your husband work?

What does he do?

When did you get married?

Then asked about her studies

What does she plan to do here

And Congrats Visa Approved.

VJ's got my interview date in September.

September 8th in Bonbay embassy.

Lets keep an track who get interview date in September. And try to stay to gather on various stages.

And i have a first update as welll, i just told my spouse about interview date and she booked the Medical for today.

Reason for early appoint ment is , some vaccine might require multiple doses and she can finish them while she is there.

Funny Story, she said told the interviewer when you give me Visa Approval I plan to go to US. The interviewer laughed.

She's a Physical Therapist, so she is continuing that here.

Thing went smoothly except one problem..we have to wait a long time.

here is how everythign went...

My wife was at embassy at 5.50 AM with one person in front of her. They all went inside the consulate at 7.00 am. Now inside , tehy haev different section for immigrant visa and no immigrant visa.

She was called initially and wasa returned all the document they took in VFS office a week back, and told to wait. NOw this wait was huge , she wasn't called till around 3.00 in the after noon.

She was asked some question

She looked at papers and asked

1) what is your marriage date? how long have you been married?

2) when did your husband came from usa for marriage? how many days before marriage?

3) you got married so soon, just few days after came form usa?

4) Where is he right now? ( What a stupid question? )

5) does he came to india for your interview?

Waht she told me is, there were one lady ( for CR1 visa as well) they questioned here for 1 hour than told her to wait and again called her for more questioned for another hour..and eventhan they didn't give her the visa. i guess this kind of stuff delayed her number tobe called upon soon.

When she was called , interview was over in 10 min

they asked following question

1) what does your husband do?

2) how does he go to wrok?

3) what kind of car he drives?

4) did you see him last time?

5) do you have photos from his last visit?

6) do you have marriage photos?

7) who came from usa to attend your marriage?

8) Did he send any gift, or card from usa?

Ans than the magic words...after waiting for about 8 hour inside embassy..

Congratulation , your visa is approved. " Congratulation, tamane visa aapavama aave che"

Hello Guys

My CR 1 visa has been approved yesterday. I am so happy. No difficulties for me. Also no files were asked to be shown. Just a simple interview in writing cuz I am DEAF! The Mumbai Consulate were very nice to me. Hats off to them :jest:
