I am a US Citizen and wanting to petition my mom(in the Philippines) to come over here in the US as an Immigrant. I just wanted to know what the requirements are to file for the petition. They have a list of requirements in the www.USCIS.Gov saying you only need to submit birth certificate and the filled out form I-130. Are there any papers that i need to submit together with these? Thank you so much. Any information would be very helpful.

Parent petition

Moms will need NBI clearance, NSO Marriage Certificate , Cenomar would be good. Police clearance if she was abroad for more than 6 months since she was 16. Those are required at the NVC level. Not for original petition.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Yes I agree with griffin.. my parents have their interview on Wednesday 29th and that is what we sent with the I-130.

Only difference was that my mother re-married when I was a child so I had to include a copy of that marriage certificate as well as her divorce papers.

A parent is an immediate relative therefore a vise number is automatically available for them takes 9-12 months baring any RFE's. Please be careful when quoting I think as it may hinder the OP. The 23 years is for sibilings

I think but not sure because it is different for every country, however I think the wait for a visa when parent is in the RP is something like 23 years.
