Expedite Interview??

I was reading someone's post and they had on their timeline that they requested an expedited interview. Is this a possibility? If so, what are they guidelines/way to go about this??

We are expecting to go through the London consulate also. I have not heard of this before. I wonder if it varies by country?

Hey guys,

YES, this is 100% possible. I got early interview with request. You have to have a reason then you can.

When i got letter from Embassy, my wife was preg. I want to be with her in US. She send me some doctors letter and I called Embass. They ask me to send letter by mail. I mail the letter to embassy and next day I also called them. If i am not wrong they asked me what date i want. I ask them asap, they give me interview date with in a week.

USCIS would be discussing expedited processing of the petition. The OP has the NOA2 for the I-129F, so it's to late for him to have that in mind. The question was about expediting an interview. London is known for actually doing this for silly little reasons like an upcoming wedding date or planned travel. It's worth a shot to directly request a "before" date for the interview.

When you return packet 3 to the Embassy include a letter requesting the expedite.

I will say wait for the interview letter. When you received the letter from Embassy, then write latter and show your reason for expedite interview

This is the correct answer. Don't wait for the interview letter. Requesting an expedite before P3 would be a wasted effort.

just FYI...I phoned the NVC today to see if our case was at the embassy in London yet. They said the case was still at NVC. I explained that I was going to request expedite and the lady I spoke to told me to request t directly through NVC. She asked me to email her my request and scan in the letter from my doctor....she said they would make a decision and send it on to the embassy requesting an expedited interview if we qualified... I REALLY HOPE THEY THINK WE DESERVE IT. we have a 7 week old baby that my husband Tom has not seen in 4 weeks and we've been waiting 9 months for our visa....keep us in your thoughts and prayers.....
