I just read about this. What is this?

I have been waiting 5 months for Vermont to do their thing then after this is done I figure another 2-3 for her to get the medical and the interview and the visa. My next step was once that visa is in hand I'm putting her in a seat on the next flight to LAX. (love you baby)

Now I read that she needs to do a CFO? What's that? I gather it's some kind of seminar for foreign living seems a bit redundant since she's going to live with a foreigner but when in Rome, right? Anyway, what is this? How long does it take? Can she do that now while we are waiting around? Thanks for any feedback.

Takes one day,,, there is more information around here on it.. Bascially,,, I think it is a seminar,, for fiancees and spouses to know what their rights

are and who to contact in the event of abuse...

Thanks. I am reading more. It freaked me out. I thought I was waiting another month for some long seminar. One day shouldn't kill us after the vermont marathon. I'll just have her go the following day then catch the 10 PM flight to LAX. Thanks.

hi!!!

pls visit their website http://www.cfo.gov.ph/fs_manila.htm to learn more about it...

i had my seminar in manila sa PRISM (its a non-profit org that gives seminar for people like us and for migrant workers)... i was there in their afternoon session 1:00 pm i think. and it ended around 3:00-3:30 so i just went straight to the CFO in quirino and paid them in advance since i still dont have my visa that time... good luck to you

Citizenship N-400

4/15/2010- sent my N-400 via fedex overnight

My advice is do NOT go to the Taft Avenue PRISM CFO for the seminar. If you do... allow a full day... so be there at 9am sharp or earlier. Also Taft Ave does not provide the passport stamp..they send you to another Manila location and you have to the get in a long line a wait for a few hours just for your stamp. Also Taft Ave has a habit of asking for documents you have already provided at your embassy interview or in your petition package. If you do not have any document they ask for you do not get a stamp or seminar certificarte until you provide. I had my wife take all documents she took to the embasy interview and a copy of my divorce decree. They ended up asking for a copy of the decree.

Go to the St Mary Euphrasia Foundation CFO facility in Quezon City located at 1043 Aurora Blvd... they give the seminar and provide the stamp with much less harrasment.
