OKAY.

So h & I were kissy-kissing, it was great, but then I happened to mention that "I wish we had more sexy and romantic times...it feels like you don't try anymore." Okay, so bad timing on my part right?

Very bad timing. Therapy can have it's advantages but sometimes be a waste of time.

This isn't therapy, it's considered by the man to be an attack.

If you're already in the act, the ONLY way he can take it is as critical of his performance.

That's sure to send his libido south of the border and his rio get less than grande.

If you wanted to say this, it would have to be in a neutral place, not the bedroom

and you would have to accompany it with a smile, wink, come-hither expression

that means you KNOW he can do it, so now lets get down to business. You don't put

performance doubt in his lap in a way as if to say, "waaa, it's broken, fix it!" - the best

way to get it fixed is to be very aggressive and DEMAND that he please you and don't

take no for an answer. You can also say it's role playing and another time it will be HIS

turn to rip your clothes off and screw your brains out while you pretend to object in

a (pretend) helpless :P way. Mix it up. Different time, different place, different clothes/toys.

Candles. Inscense. Whatever tickles your fancy, but you have to communicate it or it won't happen.

--BUT NOT while he's trying something else!

Encouragement is good and sometimes the less sexy sex (men) need an instruction manual

because they may not always be romantic naturally in the way that is romantically appealing

to the sexier sex.

Hope is not lost. It was a major timing faux pas, but you have to smile a lot and let him know

that HE IS THE MAN, because men can be so insecure if their woman doesn't communicate in

a way that he thinks he's on top of the situation. Men want to think they are the boss (especially

in the bedroom) even if they really don't have a clue. If he's in need of one, give it BEFORE,

not DURING.

FEBRUARY 10th, 2006 VISA RECIEVED!!! They called him In via phone, stamped his passort and sent him on his way!!!

FEB 28th WELCOME HOME>>>POE CHICAGO did not even look at xray, few questions. one hour wait at Poe

march 10th marriage (nikkah at the islamic center)

aug 2006 AOS interview, cond 2 yr GC arrived september

June 2008 applied for removal of conditions on permant residency aka awaiting for 10 yr greencard

Hannah, I'm so sorry things are tough right now. Yeah, I have to admit the timing was bad BUT you've been given lots of ideas and hopefully a few that you haven't tried already. Maybe it's time for a serious sit down with hubby and see if he will tell you what's going on with him right now, why the disinterest in sex. Hope you two get things figured out. :)
