I hope so one can help.

We received an appointment letter for the Biometrics which we attended on the 9th of June however due to research we realized that the appointment letter ONLY listed the I485 which we filed at the same time....NOW the USCIS is stating that I need another appointment for the I765 :crying::crying::crying: . Question is the BIO's supposed to handle BOTH applications? what did your appointment letter state? It is taking way to long!!!!!!!! THANKS

Some cases do biometric twice (one for I-485 and another for I-765) even if you filed both at the same time.

We filed ours at the same time, received NOA for both at the same time, and only got biometrics for I-485. We got an interview date for the AOS, and looks like he'll be getting the green card next month! As far as the EAD goes- we have had no word since the NOA in mid-april. It seems that it was a waste to even file it but, oh well!

I was told on a post a few days ago that if there are two barcodes on your biometrics letter, then yes it is for the EAD and AOS. But mine, probably same as yours, only had one barcode and I-485 written on it. There was no mention for the I-765 anywhere on the sheet.

Best of Luck! and easier said then done, but- be patient! B)

There are separate biometrics for the AOS and EAD. Some people do both at the same time though.

EAD- 1 finger, picture, signature
