Anyone use Atlanta as their POE? My fiance is not real comfortable with English, and we are wondering how in depth the interview there will be. Also, is there a certain amount of money he must bring? I already provided my aff of support, just wondering about any other monetary requirements. Thanks!

Use Google to find an image of the I-94

There shouldn't be any sort of interview, just some questions from the IO and CBP official. Nothing to be paid until he gets onto the concourse and is hungry or thirsty. :)

There is a customs declaration form. This link shows the form and has the questions typed out.

The last queston about value of items that will remain in the US can be answered $0. On the back is where you itemize things you are bringing from abroad, like souvenirs that Americans would buy on a trip or non USCs might bring in gifts. My fiance and I were travelling together with 6 pieces of luggage stuffed with CDs, his disassembled computer, old coins...not just normal clothing so I asked the CBP officer before travelling, if that was a problem. He said just write "household goods" and no value on the back of the form.

Immigrants are allowed to bring their household goods (they have owned more than 1 year) with no customs duty. If he should have brand new items in packaging, then those wouldn't look like household goods.
